WHAT IS BALIK-HANDOG PROGRAM?​

A Stewardship Program​​

  • That invites all parishioners and organizations to give and share the blessings they receive from God.

  • That empowers everyone to help the less fortunate in the Parish

A Modified Tithing Program

  • That promotes VOLUNTARY giving             (giving from the heart)

  • With no fixed amount

  • But on a regular basis (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)

WHY JOIN THE BALIK-HANDOG?​​

  1. Develops one’s heart to be generous and transforms it to be like the heart of Jesus the Good Shepherd

  2. Becomes true steward of God.

  3. Supports the programs and services for the less fortunate.

  • Educational Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Feeding Programs

  • Medical Services

  • Sacramental Services

  • Charities

WHO CAN JOIN THE PROGRAM?

  • an individual;

  • a family

  • an Institution

HOW DO I BECOME A BALIK-HANDOG MEMBER?

  • Approach any leader of your BEC, Ministry, Chapel or go to the Parish office to get a brochure

  • Fill out the Balik-Handog enrollment form at the back of the brochure

  • Submit the filled-up form to the parish office for issuance of the Balik-Handog ID.

WHAT MUST I DO AS A MEMBER?

  • Get a Balik-Handog envelope from the parish office or at the side of the church

  • Offer the envelope personally in the BEC, Chapel, Main church Mass or in the parish office.

  • Obtain a receipt of the offering.

  • Check your record in the Parish Office regularly.

  • Present Balik-Handog ID in the Parish Office for needed services.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR MEMBERS?

  • Easy access to Church services for everyone especially the poor.

  • No more fixed stole fees, only by donations.

  • A meaningful way to participate in the Church ministry for the poor.

  • A sense of belonging to the parish community, especially through the Parish ID system.

  • Becoming true disciples and stewards of the Good Shepherd.
